SALVAGED MURAL ART

This art came from a Buddhist temple in Berkeley that was sold to be converted into student housing. The original mural was 28 feet long and had to be carefully extracted. Its segments are available for custom framing. All the artwork was hand-drawn and features 24-karat gold leaf. The name of the artist is unknown. $500-1200.

Sample from the mural extract.
This segment is not for sale, but similar pieces are available for custom sizing and framing.

These panels can be also cut to size and framed.
Red paint and 24-karat gold leaf.

The Buddhist sanctuary before the room was demolished.
Special thanks to Neal Rubin and Elijah Liedeker for meticulously removing the mural from the wall.

"ART OF BATIK" MID-CENTURY TAIWANESE ART

Here's the story: Back in the 70s, my parents considered doing an Asian art-import business between Taiwan and the US and they brought large amounts of art to the Bay Area. However, they didn't continue with idea and the artwork went into storage. Fifty years later, I was cleaning out the storage units and found them. I'd love for them to see the light of day again. Some are framed, others are still in their original vintage packaging with certificates of authenticity. They are wax batik prints on fabric.

One print from the Red Standing Horse series made it onto the set of Mad Men

Unframed: $50-125
Framed: Starting at $120
